TWO Qatari companies are keen on bringing three wellknown Filipino
brands to the country, according to Philippine Ambassador to Qatar HE
Crescente Relacion.
The internationallyrenowned Filipino products which are likely to be available in Doha if negotiations include the fastfood and bakery chain Red Ribbon Bakeshop and restaurant Mang Inasal which are both licensed brands of Filipino multinational firm Jollibee Foods Corporation and another bakery chain Goldilocks Bakeshop.
The two Filipino bakery chains enjoy international popularity with Red Ribbon having 32 stores all over California and other parts of the US such as in Las Vegas, New Jersey, Phoenix and New York. The family business Goldilocks, founded in 1966, to date has 18 stores in the US, two in Canada and one each in Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.
