In the blink of an eye, we are now in the “Ber” months! Parties and launches are in full swing this time of the year. Do you smell Christmas in the air? Welcome the “ber” months! The Philippines must be the only country that starts the holiday season once September kicks in. 

Philippines earned distinction celebrating the longest Christmas season in the world. Christmas Songs heard since September and the season lasted until Epiphany. And I remember, when I was still in Pinas, pagpasok ng "Ber", nakaprepare na ang Christmas lights sa labas ng terrace. Although wala pang inaayos na Christmas, but continuous change in our little home can be already observed. Madalas, we put red and gold curtain. Minsan naman, red and green. and all throw pillowcases, centerpieces and table runners will have the same color. Everything has to be color coordinated. Syempre, pakana ko yun. Kasi we have so many bulilits and I want them to feel the breeze of Holiday season. Eventhough suki kami ng christmas balls every year dahil pinipitas ng mga pamangkin ko sa Christmas Tree, it's okay. Masarp pa din ang feeling kasi may angels around us.

And since Christmas is not actually a holiday in Qatar, although we still call it "Christmas" kasi it's payday - the innovation of Christmas decoration are not so in demand. Usual decors such as regular Christmas trees, simple Christmas balls, and garland are the only choices we have. Pero in Philippines sobrang dami!
